Bird Shooting in La Zona
The province of Entre Rios is very near the capital city of Buenos Aires and enjoys a mild climate that changes little throughout the year. The hundreds of thousands of acres of grain crops, coupled with suitable roosting conditions, have produced a dove population that has expanded tenfold over the last ten years! In Entre Rios, eared doves are truly an agricultural pest. We often hear that the shooting rivals or exceeds the action in Cordoba Province.
Hunters will routinely go through 15-30 boxes in an afternoon hunt, and enjoy a variety of shooting blinds--on the perimeter of standing corn or sorghum fields, in the midst of cut sunflowers, in dense roosting cover and along flight lines.
Your River Plate Outfitters hosts have been guiding trips in Entre Rios for decades and are very dedicated to our clients. Their diligent scouting by both land and air ensures that clients will have the opportunity to shoot plenty of shells every day. In the field attentive bird boys are on hand to re-supply shells, retrieve downed birds and keep cool drinks at the ready.
